Suns of Banditos have been gigging locally for the last year and are now branching out further afield and to bigger venues. The five piece band have a unique sound which can only be described as a subtle blend of rock 'n' roll, Indie, funk and psychadelia. Their music evolves from their healthy mix of appreciation of artists such as The Stone Roses, Primal Scream and Pink Floyd, but it would be hard to place them in one particular genre, as their style is so original.

Suns of Banditos are Craig (vocals), Rob (guitar), Reece (guitar), Jim (bass) and Will (drums). The guys have been playing mainly around Doncaster, Retford,  Leeds and Manchester. They are embarking on hitting cities such as Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln, and  London gigs to be confirmed later on in the year, so keep checking their myspace for updates of gigs,

Suns of Banditos have been turning heads over the last few months with their original music style. It's very hard to categorise these guys as it is so unique, but it works judging form the crowds they pull in to gigs.

Suns of Banditos have just reached stage two of the national Surface Unsigned competition, where they wowed judges in Leeds with their incredible original fusion of funk, Indie and psychadelia. The band wiped the floor with their sound, and received the highest score of the night!

They have also just qualified for the National Finals in the Globabl Battle of the Bands Competition.

Like all unsigned bands, Suns of Banditos are hungry to have their music heard, and to also put their own mark on music. They need to be seen live to truly appreciate the enormous amount of raw talent they have between them.
